-CHAPTER 8-

—♀

"-Then-YESTERDAY-happened, and-you-don't-even-want-KNOW-that-story, but-now-I'm-in-physicalβ€”andprobablymentaltooβ€”pain-AND-I'm-confused-AND-oh-my-god-I-think-I'm-going-insane." You threw out in shambles, but it's not like you understood much of your words either.
"I'm sorry, what-?" Is all you got in response. "How much do you think Sun gets in gift-card money?"
"I'm sorry, what."

Right now, you were laying on the floor of Freddy's roomβ€”totally wishing death on yourself and possibly a few othersβ€”, as he tried to help you out with very little luck, as you spoke a bit too quickly and with too many stammers, for his sensors to properly pick up.

How'd you get here? It's not too long a story, after yesterday, you went through work as usual, but decided to pay Freddy a visit after your shift, the place closed at 12, but everyone was already gone now.
Anywho, yadayadayada, now you were here. Trying miserably to explain the situation.

"Sorry," you apologized, "I think my thought process spiraled."
. . . .
It went quiet for a moment, before you realized he was probably waiting for you to restart again.

"Okay," you sat up, taking a breath, before trying again. "Long story short, I'm. . . Dating Xavier, right? I did really like him, but now that I'm. . .back here again, it's like a repeat of last time; I still can't keep my mind off-" You winced a bit, "the other two." Your gaze snapped up towards Freddy, before finding the floor again, now that you were admitting anything, your mind was going everywhere. "It's not weird to think I'm being flirted with, right?" You randomly said.

"Okay," Freddy stopped you, "let's backtrack real quick." "Backtracking." You agreed through a mumble.
"To me, it doesn't seem like anyone thinks you should be dating him. And it also seems like it's just a hassle on your side. What would you actually lose from, breaking things off?"
Sounded like Aria has giving the poor bear a lot of rants, but. . .

Ouch.

"I dunno. I guess it's selfish to say that I haven't felt so openly wanted liked that." You mentally cursed yourself, yeah yeah, vent to the bear, anywho.
"I don't think you'd have too much of a hard time finding that again." Freddy said plainly, but you stared at him, giving him the same tone, "You'd be suprised."
"Didn't you say Moon bit y-" "WHAT?!" You quickly cut him off, standing up immediately, "I do NOT remember telling you that." You frowned, which only deepened a bit, at his responding short laugh. "You mumbled something about it walking in."

. . .

"It feels wrong." You said, changing the topic, suddenly, which caught the animatronic's attention. "What does?"
You shrugged. "I think . . ." A heavy sigh left you, as you pondered your next sentence. "I think I might like them. As in, the childish crush kind of way. But I'm already supposed to be with Guyβ€”Xavier," You corrected yourself, "-all the while I'm like this with two completely opposite robots."

Freddy's glare, almost made you scared you did something wrong, but you kept your chin up.
"Is the robot part, a deal breaker for you?" He asked.
"At first, it would've been." It felt a bit much to admit, to be honest. "But no, not exactly. It's more of. . . Suddenly everything seems so much more temporary that way, and leaving the company was definitely a wake-up call."

"If you ask meβ€”which you areβ€”, I would say, figure out things with Xavier, and then talk to Moon."
.
.
.
You stared at him as if he was insane, which didn't seem to far off after hearing that. "Talk to Moon." You repeated, your mouth twitched slightly.
"I'd say so, clearly there's a few things both parties may need to fix, before worrying about Sun in the equation aswell." He spoke calmly, but you couldn't help letting out a fake laugh, though a stretched on smile. "Yeah. Just. . . Talk to Moon, nothing could be simpler."

"Do. . . Either of them know?" Freddy asked, not a second after, and your smile dropped, realizing it was probablya reference to Guy again."Well. . . No." You admitted, and the animatronic let out a hum, but before he could actually say anything, you let out a sigh. "Figure that out, too, I got it." You paused, right before leaving. ". . . Thanks. For. . . A second opinon."

Bzzt!

You stared at your phone with a slight annoyance in your expression, at the simple, 'Where are you????',
Though, Freddy was there, so you had to hold back a few curses.

When you went back to the daycare, you were a bit suprised to see that Guy wasn't waiting outside, meaning, yeah, he was probably waiting in the main area.
Amazing.
Wonderful.

You pulled on your best Emmy Award smile, before pushing in a daycare door, seeing Guy just leaning against the wall, and you closed the door softly behind you.
His expression softened when he saw you, and as you took a glance around, it looked like Sun and him were probably spending that time shooting eachother glares.
"There y-" You cut him off instantly, "I didn't think you'd actually pick me up today, you were a little late, so."

. . .

"On a different note," He started, though you fully expected a bit more spite. "-do you just wander the building everytime you're off shift?"
You blinked.
"Uh- no. I was.." You trailed off a bit, though you didn't do that cartoon pizazz of tapping your foot to think of an excuse. "--taking the long way, to the exit."

"If you got here when you were supposed to, there wouldn't be a problem, would there?" You heard Sun mumble while he picked something off the desk.
"It's fine," you said, your smile turning a bit more genuine of the thought that someone would stand up for you in a trivial issue.
. . .or maybe Sun and Guy are just beefing. "-besides, I don't mind a little walk."

Sun winced a bit, "but-" He paused, letting out an exaggerated sigh, and his faceplate spun around once, before a giant smile was plastered on, as if this never happened.
"June made you a drawing!" Sun said, handing you a little folded up piece of paper, which you took carefully. You gasped, "Aww, she did?" Even if your tone was endearing to be honest, you were a little weary of what it could be. You put it in your pocket, "-I'll look at it later, thank you, Sun."

He was quiet for a moment, before picking you up, and spinning you into a hug, "Annnd, I'll see you tomorrow, right, right?" He asked, and you rested your chin on his shoulder, you weren't able to see Suns' expression wavering for a moment, but Guy did, and he crossed his arms impatiently.

"Sun, I have no plans on quitting anyday soon. And even if I did, you'd know, stop worrying."
He put you back down, and took a few steps away, fidgeting with the ribbions tied around his wrists. "Well I know that. . ." He mumbled, his smile thinning. ". . .I just like hearing you say it?"
You stifled a laugh, even if it made you feel more guilty than you have been todayβ€”thanks, Freddyβ€”A part of you thought it was still adorable.
"Okay." You replied, "I'll see you tomorrow, promise."

When you got into the car, the first thing you did was pull out the little paper you got, and you started to unfold it, but you quickly folded back together and stuffed it in your pocket, the only thing you made out was Sun's signature colors, a arrow pointing somewhere with your name at the end of it, and a few hearts.
That was all you needed to see, before you had to curse under your breath, muttering a totally un-sincere death threat.

"You okay?" Guy asked, and you froze, "uhh, yeah, mhm. Its nothing."
He didn't comment any further, just frowned. Yet before you questioned if he was also okay, he let out a sigh, "would you mind coming with me to a funeral next week..?" He asked, and you were lucky enough to stop yourself from saying, 'damn.'
You returned a frown, "Yeah, sure... that's fine."

Guy gave you a weak smile, "Thank you. My . . . Sister, died. And, I just, don't think I can go there without you."

sh*t.
Okay, f*ck.
Change of plans.
