Untouchable (2019) | Rotten Tomatoes (1) Debi Enker The Age (Australia) The rise and fall of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has been given a lot of coverage, but this thoughtful, probing and revealing feature-length documentary directed by Ursula Macfarlane adds a constructive perspective to the allegations about him. David F This is a very good documentary about Harvey Weinstein, his abuses, and his downfall. It is told through interviews with people he attacked, people he worked with, and the journalists who chronicled his downfall. It recounts his rise and the role he played in the independent film world of the 1990s but also has great eyewitness testimony about his temper, his cruelty, and his sexual abuse. This is a definitive account of Weinstein. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I respect so many people in this documentary. Except one. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review gareth d A disgusting portrait of a pig of a man who has wreaked destruction over decades in Hollywood. It just goes to show how money and power corrupts. Rated 4/5 Stars • Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This documentary does a wonderful job of pulling back the curtain and helping you understand how Harvey Weinstein was able to get away with his crimes so long, how it impacted those that he hurt, and why they kept silent. It's a documentary that pulls no punches yet never feels overly salacious. It is thoughtful, fascinating, and disturbing. Rated 4.5/5 Stars • Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It could dig deeper to show treu hell of Hollywood machina. Beside that it one of those dark stories with money and power creates monsters. Rated 3.5/5 Stars • Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Shows everything about how Hollywood and the press are. Harvey got away with too much and not many took a stand to stop him. Rated 5/5 Stars • Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
