Marvel fan-favorite James Gunn returns to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a superhero sci-fi adventure film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed byWalt Disney Studios. It is the 32nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the fourth dedicated outing in the franchise after Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. The movie also follows on from the events ofThor: Love and Thunder, in which the Guardians make an appearance for a brief team-up with Thor.

The third instalment sees the return of director James Gunn, who was briefly let go from the project before being reinstated. Chris Pratt returns as Star-Lord alongside Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket and Karen Gillan as Nebula. After being teased in a post-credit scene, Will Poulter joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Adam Warlock.
